Tarek Amin is the Director of YouTube in the Middle East and North Africa. a successful serial entrepreneur and digital media veteran who founded and successfully sold the premier MENA online recruitment and career development portal before the turn of the millennium. 

Having diverse regional experience in founding and managing businesses across Digital Media, TV, and Technology startups, Tarek has served as a strategist successfully executing fundraising and M&A's for some of the leading tech startups, Multi Platform Networks and media businesses across the Arab world. 

Amongst his ventures Tarek established the region’s leading online media house in 2000. He later served as managing partner & executive producer in an Edutainment specialist company where he launched Pan Arab drama series and other original programming. Tarek later established the Digital Media business for one of the region’s leading media representation groups where he served as CEO | Digital for 8 years. In his last position Tarek served as Chief Digital Products Officer and executive committee member for one of the leading Pan Arab broadcasters. 

With a passion for creating and nurturing a vibrant ecosystem for tech and media entrepreneurs, Tarek is an active mentor, speaker & judge in numerous events, accelerators, and incubators across the region.
