Rules & Policies
VidCon is an all ages event, but attendees who are under 16 years old must be accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+) at all times. Please see our Chaperone Policy below for more information:
Children 5 and under:
Children 5 and under do not need a ticket as long as they are accompanied by an adult (18+) who has purchased a ticket to attend VidCon. Children 5 years old and under may participate in any activities their parent or chaperone will be participating in during the event.
Children between the ages of 6 and 15:
Children between the ages of 6 and 15 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+) at all times. The adult must have a ticket that offers access to the same track that the child is attending.
Children 16 or older:
Children 16 or older are not required to be accompanied by a chaperone if it’s OK with their parent/guardian. If a parent/guardian would like to accompany their child in any capacity, they need a ticket to attend VidCon. If the parent/guardian is OK with being in the Chaperones’ Lounge and in the vicinity of the event, they do not need a ticket. Adults without tickets will not have access to any panels, the Expo Hall, concerts, etc.
