As a fanthropologist, Meredith Levine helps media companies understand and create better strategies for building and sustaining fans and fandoms, especially as it pertains to the competition in the attention and creator economies. She has worked with companies like Disney, Viacom, Theorist Media, LEGO, Supercell, as well as countless independent creators, like Jesser, Justin Flom, Cinema Therapy, SidneyRaz, EatItKatie. In 2018, she founded her consultancy, Random Machine.Levine has her MA in critical media studies from UCLA and her BA in communication and culture from Indiana University.
