Kate Stanford, Vice President, YouTube Marketing Kate Stanford oversees global core, creator and emerging business marketing for YouTube. In this role she is responsible for product marketing and activation around YouTube's efforts across a number of areas including shopping, gaming, news, learning, AI and responsibility work; and for creator acquisition, retention and growth.Prior to this, Kate led Ads Marketing for Google, focused on global go-to-market marketing. In this role she oversaw brand management, communications, research, and activation for Google Ads and YouTube Ads, as well as Think with Google, a global platform for consumer insights and thought leadership about marketing. Before joining Google, Kate held strategic planning, marketing and news production roles at media companies including the Philadelphia Inquirer and CNN.Kate holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Princeton University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She is on the board of directors for the Montclair Public Library Foundation; the alumni board of directors for Princeton’s University Press Club; and has been an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Columbia University. Kate lives in Montclair, NJ with her husband and three children.
