COVID-19 Health & Safety FAQ

Vaccines & Testing

In order to attend VidCon US 2022, all attendees who are 5 years old or older must present one of the following upon arrival at the event:

  1. Physical or digital proof of COVID-19 vaccine
  2. Proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of the event. (At home tests will not be accepted.)
If you are 18 years old or older, you will also need to present a valid ID. Forms of valid ID include government-issued ID card, Driver's License, Passport, or Military ID.

Negative test results must be provided for children between the ages of 2 – 5 in accordance with the guidelines listed above. Although entry will not be denied to children under 2 years old, we respectfully request that children under 2 do not attend due to them being ineligible for testing and vaccination and unlikely to wear a mask.

In order for your proof of vaccination to be valid, you must have received all recommended doses in your primary vaccination. You must have received your last dose at least 14 days prior to the event.

To show your proof of vaccination or negative test, please follow these instructions:
  • Visit one of the following locations:
    • ACC North Katella entrance for ACC North 100 Level Registration
    • ACC South Transit Plaza for Hall D Wedge Registration
  • Staff will be at the doors and walking the lines checking for proof of vaccination or negative test results (from no longer than 72 hours before the event). Reminder: If you are over 18 you will need to show a form of government-issued ID. If you are under 18, you may provide a school ID. If you do not have one, you will be asked some questions to verify your identity.
  • Once your proof of vaccination/negative test has been verified, you will receive a ticket that you will need to hold onto to present at Registration.
  • Enter the building and proceed through the security checkpoint (metal detectors and bag search), and then head to the Registration counter.
  • Hand your COVID-19 verification ticket to Registration staff to receive your COVID-19-checked wristband which you will wear for the entire event. You will not need to provide proof again as long as this wristband is worn.
Lost COVID-19 wristbands are subject to a $10 replacement fee and must be replaced at the Registration Help Desk in ACC North 100 Level or Hall D Wedge Registration.

Please note: At home tests will not be accepted! There will not be any tests provided on site, so please plan accordingly. You can find a list of testing sites within Anaheim on the City of Anaheim website.

Additional Safety Measures

Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the ACC lobby. For more information on the safety procedures in place throughout the ACC, please refer to the ACC's COVID-19 Recovery Plan.

In order to reduce the handling of objects between attendees, we strongly recommend purchasing your ticket online prior to the event rather than purchasing on site at a sales desk. Tickets will be available throughout the event via our ticketing site.

If you receive meet & greets via matchmaking, please note that Featured Creators have been given the ability to dictate any safety protocols that they would like in order to ensure their comfort. Please be sure to listen to directions from staff and security in the Meet & Greet Hall, and please make note of any signage. Whether gifts will be accepted is up to the discretion of each individual creator.
