Harry Bernstein is Chief Creative Officer at 52HZ and Creative Director at Lonely Whale, a nonprofit inspired by the power of community to create the change needed to ensure a healthy planet. With over 20 years of industry experience, Harry leads ideation, development and management of creative campaigns and branding at Lonely Whale. Under Harry’s leadership and with his extensive creative expertise, Lonely Whale launched 52HZ, a first of its kind creative marketing agency that donates 100% of its profits back to the ocean-health nonprofit. This unique model powers Lonely Whale’s impact-driven campaigns and programs while creating transformational impact within and across its clients’ brands and industries.
Before coming to Lonely Whale, Harry Bernstein was the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of the digital agency Annex88 (formerly The 88), which was acquired by Havas New York. Harry’s career began working with brands like Vitaminwater, Coca-Cola, Lincoln, Ford, Belvedere, Boost Mobile, Heineken, IBM, Sprite, Kodak, American Express and Rockstar video games (Grand Theft Auto). Named to Adweek's 2019 Creative 100 list and a Digital Forty Under 40 honoree by Campaign US in 2021, Harry’s always pushing the boundaries of meaningful storytelling on modern platforms, making creative innovation the obsession of Lonely Whale over the past year. Harry’s unique blend of traditional and non-traditional experience has enabled him to develop an uncanny ability to understand contemporary culture and technology and align it with brands to create authentic creative campaigns.
