Dane Glasgow

Dane Glasgow is a serial entrepreneur, senior technology executive, and maker. He has built and grown a number of successful businesses across entertainment, search, commerce, communications, finance, and geospatial software. Dane currently leads Entertainment for Facebook at Meta, including products and platforms for video, audio, music and gaming. Prior to Meta, Dane held a number of executive leadership positions at Google, eBay and Microsoft. He has also helped create four successful start-ups in his career. Dane is a regular media spokesperson, conference speaker, and university guest lecturer. He has over 50 US patents issued or pending in search, machine learning, client software, and commerce technology. 

Outside of Meta, Dane serves on the board of trustees for the SETI Institute and is a member of the Entrepreneurship at Cornell Advisory Council. He is an active investor and advisor in the start-up community and the co-creator of the Sunborn Rising entertainment universe. He spends much of his free time on machine learning and robotic vision systems, while also enjoying photography and helping educational / community-based charities.
