Registration Terms and Conditions

We are proud to produce VidCon Mexico (“the Eventor”). The following Registration Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to you and any party you are registering to participate in any VidCon Event (“Participant”), and registration, attendance, participation, registration and/or request to participate in such Participant’s Event, including but not limited to your purchase and/or possession of any event entry material, such as badges, bracelets, tickets, passes and gifts (“Credentials”).

By clicking “I Agree” below and/or by obtaining your Credentials, you agree to these Terms.  If you are registering another party for the Event, you also agree that such party will be bound by these Terms and that you have authority to bind that party in this manner.

Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Each Participant has read, understands and agrees to VidCon’s Terms of Use and acknowledges the Privacy Policy, which are incorporated here in by this reference. In the event of a conflict between these Terms of Use and VidCon’s Terms of Use, these Terms shall prevail.

Enrollment and Attendee Information

All event attendees must have purchased a ticket on the VidCon Mexico site. To register for the event, click here. All information entered on the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

VidCon credentials are issued to, may be collected by, and used by, and only by the individual named in the registry. VidCon credentials are non-transferable after they have been collected. VidCon badges allow the badge bearer to enter specific defined events, but cannot guarantee admission to each VidCon event. Admission to the event is subject to venue capacity and age restrictions in accordance with state and local laws. Age restrictions are site-specific.

To register for the Event, you must be of legal age to form a binding contract, or have obtained permission from your parents or guardians to enroll and get your parents or guardians to accept these Terms on your behalf. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or other adult guardian during the event. Participants may be required to show proof of age identification to VidCon.

Refund and revocation policy

All Credentials are the exclusive property of VidCon. To the extent permitted by law, VidCon may, in its sole discretion and at any time determined by VidCon, cancel, revoke or reject the following from any individual or company: Credentials, merchandise, reservations for activities (such as meetings, greetings and movie nights), and/or other purchases. VidCon shall not be liable for any penalties, fees, losses or expenses that may result from such action.

You will have until August 1st, 2024 at 5:00 PM (CST) to modify your registration

NO TICKET WILL BE REFUNDED.

Unused credentials have no monetary value and cannot be credited to future years or events. VidCon will not issue refunds or credits due to the lack of redemption of a discount coupon during the registration process. Discounted prices are based on the date payment is received at the VidCon office.

Lost or stolen Credentials will be subject to a replacement charge upon identity verification in accordance with the requirements requested by VidCon.

The use of a Credential by anyone other than the authorized individual will result in the revocation of the Credential without any refund.

Communication about the event

By registering for the Event, you agree to allow VidCon to contact you by email with information about the event.

Accreditations

Accreditations and/or bracelets  may be used for personal  data to help us serve attendees, determine participation in various sessions and activities, and connect you with sponsors or exhibitors. 

You must have your Accreditations  to receive admission to the Event. If requested by security, attendees may be required to provide additional identification.

Sponsors and Exhibitors

VidCon may have external sponsors and exhibitors, and you may allow these sponsors or exhibitors to scan your Accreditations so that they can contact you with more information.  All scanning is optional. By allowing a sponsor or exhibitor to scan your accreditation, you authorize VidCon to share with such sponsor or exhibitor the following registration information: name, email, age, sex, city, state.  You may choose not to participate at any time.

Consent to the use of movies and videos

Photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken during the Event by VidCon, or by others on behalf of VidCon, may include the image, name, voice and/or image of a Participant. By attending and/or participating in the Event, each Participant grants VidCon permission to use the Participant’s photograph, image, likeness, voice and statements for any purpose, including but not limited to commercial purposes, without compensation or credit to the Participant, in any and all media now known or hereinafter devised. Participant acknowledges that Participant is at least eighteen years of age. If Participant is under the age of eighteen, Participant represents that Participant has obtained parent’s/guardian’s consent to enter an area that is being recorded, photographed or videotaped and be bound by the terms set forth herein. Your personal data may be used to produce, promote, distribute and otherwise exploit Vidcon in any media formats worldwide in accordance with its privacy policy located here: https://privacy.paramount.com/production-policy

Code of Conduct

Event participants agree to VidCon’s Code of Conduct. VidCon reserves the right, without refund, to revoke the Credentials of Participants whose conduct violates the Code of Conduct.

Don’t Apply

The application or sale of items or services is not permitted at the Event unless expressly authorized by VidCon. Any attendee who performs these activities may be removed from the event.

On-site safety

As a safety measure, VidCon may  review bags,backpacks or any random Participant property at the event site.  No bag or property should be left unattended at any time. Unattended property can be removed.

VidCon reserves the right to take any security measures it deems appropriate to increase the safety of attendees, sponsors and exhibitors, without notice. VidCon reserves the right to change the policies set forth herein, without notice, and has the discretion to deny entry to anyone.

Risk acceptance

Each Participant understands that participation in the Event is voluntary and may involve certain risks of physical injury, property damage and other damage or loss that a Participant may suffer. Each Participant assumes all risk of damage, loss of property and personal injury that may occur when participating in the Event.

Use of VidCon accreditations

VidCon accreditations may not be used as a prize in any form of promotion, contest, game or sweepstakes without the prior written approval of VidCon. 

Lost And Found

Lost items will be at the information desk during the event. Participants can leave items found at the information desk during the event. Participants can also email a description of an item and the location where it was lost or found to mexicoinfo@vidcon.com.

After ninety (90) days after the Event, lost and found items not claimed may be disposed of at VidCon’s discretion.

Changes to these Terms

By providing you with reasonable notice, we may amend the Terms at any time.  We may provide such notice by posting the relevant revised terms on the VidCon site. If the revised Terms include any material changes to your existing rights and obligations, we will notify you as required by law. The revised version will take effect at the time of publication, but will not be applied retroactively. Any dispute between you and VidCon that arose prior to the changes will be governed by the Terms of Use in effect when the dispute arose.

General

Full agreement.  The Terms, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other guidelines, policies, licenses, waivers posted on the VidCon site, and any other agreements negotiated between you and VidCon constitute the entire agreement between VidCon and you.

Third Party Beneficiaries.  You and VidCon agree that there are no third party beneficiaries under these Terms of Use.

Divisibility.  In the event that any term or provision of the Terms is deemed invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, such term or provision shall be deemed separable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining term or provision.

Resignation.  Any breach by VidCon of enforcing or exercising any provision of the Terms or related right shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Section titles.  The section titles used in the Terms are purely for convenience and have no legal or contractual effect.

Allocation.  These Terms, and any rights and licenses granted to you by these Terms, may not be transferred or assigned by you, and any attempted transfer or assignment by you will be void and void.
