It is of utmost importance to us that VidCon is a safe place for all participants. VidCon is a private event, and participants who mistreat or disrespect other participants may be expelled from the event, under penalty of being sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organizers, without any refunds, compensations or indemnities. VidCon reserves the right to permanently ban participants and guests who fail to abide by this Code of Conduct, including in events held by VidCon in the future, without any refunds, compensations or indemnities.
Please use common sense and be respectful, we will not be satisfied in expelling you as much as you will not be happy with being expelled. Please also keep in mind that we are sharing the event site with other people and perhaps other events, so it is our duty to be friendly. Not everyone “understands” the particulars of our event. Let’s show everyone that we are a group of positive and friendly people. By applying to participate in VidCon, you will be agreeing to the following:
ACCESS
Tickets for VidCon São Paulo 2023 are essential and required to participate in all official events of VidCon São Paulo 2023. Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
All activities have a capacity limit defined by the organization and the fire department, however, although your ticket offers access to all activities, we cannot guarantee your access to any activity at any time if it has reached the total limit of participants.
All meet & greet sessions have a limited number of spaces, your ticket to VidCon São Paulo 2023 does not guarantee autographs or photos during the meet & greet, being certain that they will depend on the availability of the Content Creators and the time available for each participant.
Content CREATORS
Content Creators participating in VidCon are excited to see the participants, but please be respectful. They need to be safe and ensure that all participants are safe while on the move during the event. So do not run or crowd around a content creator in public walkways, near escalators, or around doorways.
Content Creators also need to rest, therefore, it is prohibited to try to follow them to their dressing rooms or exclusive rooms or any other similar behavior.
Purchasing a ticket from VidCon does not guarantee that you will find a particular Content Creator.
HARASSMENT
Inappropriate conduct could include, but is not limited to, any behavior that is illegal, risky, disturbing, discriminatory or that causes discomfort to our participants and guests. If a participant doesn’t want to chat with you, don’t insist on chatting with them. If you are not allowed to touch someone, don’t touch them. See our Anti-Harassment Policy for further information.
It is prohibited to make jokes or “pranks” that are emotionally, mentally or physically harmful to any person or property during VidCon. If we learn that someone is making jokes/pranks that harm the well-being of our guests, participants or staff, disciplinary measures may be taken, including being expelled from the event and/or banned from future events organized by VidCon, without any refund, compensation or indemnity.
LISTEN TO The Team
All VidCon participants must follow the instructions of all employees and agents, the security team, the event site staff and any law enforcement officer, under penalty of being sanctioned or expelled from the event at the organizers’ discretion event, without any refund, compensation or indemnity.
PROHIBITIONS
Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, weapons and items that can be mistaken for weapons, ammunition, explosives and/or combustible substances are completely prohibited, even if they are part of a costume. Masks and other accessories that cover the entire face are not allowed. Backpacks and large bags are not allowed, and other similar accessories are subject to inspection and may be prohibited within the event. Illegal sale or attempted sale of tickets and/or credentials will result in their cancellation without refund.
Authorization for Use of Image
This part we’re going to state is pretty obvious: VidCon is an event produced by, for, and about online video enthusiasts. In this way, the event can be recorded or reproduced by VidCon, its representatives, and/or participants. By registering to participate in the event, you automatically and expressly authorize VidCon, and its representatives, and/or participants to capture, record, transcribe, modify, produce, reproduce, present, represent, transmit and distribute content containing your image, your voice sound and other personal characteristics, in any and all media, in any format, and for any purpose, any recording made at VidCon. In the case of children and teenagers, the legal representative who buys the ticket and/or registers the child and/or teenager to participate in the event expressly authorizes the use of the image, voice sound and other personal characteristics of the child and/or the teenager for the purposes set forth herein. By registering to participate in the event, you release VidCon, its representatives, employees and agents, and/or its participants from any and all claims and/or actions that you and your intermediaries may have, now or in the future, in relation to such activities.
MINORS
VidCon is an event for all ages. The participant’s age can determine if they need a ticket and if they are allowed to participate in the event on their own:
Children under 16 must have a ticket and, throughout the event, must be accompanied by an adult (18+) with a valid ticket.
Minors aged 16 or over do not need to be accompanied if their parents or guardians allow it. If parents or guardians prefer to accompany their children, they will need to purchase their ticket to participate in VidCon.
Parents or guardians of minors will be responsible for the actions and omissions of the minors they supervise.
Responsibility
You assume any and all risk that may occur during or after VidCon. You release VidCon, Viacom International Inc., the event site, its agents, licensees, assigns, employees, their respective affiliates and representatives from any and all claims or actions arising out of or in connection with VidCon events.
TERMS OF USE
All participants and guests are required to follow this Code of Conduct. The VidCon São Paulo 2023 ticket, required for admission to all activities, is a provisional license, revocable at any time. VidCon or its representatives may, without refund, compensation and/or indemnity, revoke your license for breach of these terms and other rules of the event or for inappropriate conduct.
HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
All VidCon participants and guests are required to comply with the Health and Safety Guidelines, which form part of this Code of Conduct and which may be issued by the municipal, state and/or federal government up to the date of the event. The VidCon São Paulo 2023 ticket, required for admission to all activities, is a provisional and revocable license. VidCon or its representatives may revoke, without refund, compensation and/or indemnity, your license for breach of these terms and other rules of the event or for inappropriate conduct.
All VidCon participants and guests, are obliged to comply with, as determined at the sole discretion of VidCon, the Health and Safety Guidelines, which are part to this Code of Conduct.
TERMS OF USE FOR SÃO PAULO EXPO
VidCon participants agree to analyze and comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations of São Paulo Expo, the event site. VidCon and its representatives may, without reimbursement, revoke this license or refuse the admission of a participant who fails to analyze or breach all or any applicable policies, rules, and regulations of São Paulo Expo, as determined by VidCon and/or São Paulo. Show. VidCon participants agree to analyze and comply with all applicable laws, statutes, decrees, rules and regulations of Brazil, the Government of the State of São Paulo and the Prefecture of São Paulo.
VidCon reserves the right to change and modify any policy or rule at any time and without prior notice, by merely updating its text on the event website.
