Celebrating the Legends Who Shaped Digital Culture
In 2025, VidCon launched something truly special — the VidCon Hall of Fame. For the first time ever, VidCon honored the creators who paved the way for digital storytelling, fandom, and the creator economy as we know it. These are the originators, the icons, and the faces that defined a generation of online content. And, we’re just getting started!
The VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee
We are now accepting applications to be part of the inaugural VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee. This committee will be responsible for nominating and then voting on the VidCon 2026 Hall of Fame inductees.
What we’re looking for:
- A diverse group of leaders, industry insiders, and pioneers in digital media.
- Experts and tastemakers with deep knowledge of the online video industry and the creator economy.
- Professionals representing a wide spectrum of roles — creators, executives, representatives, creatives, and cultural shifters — who have shaped digital culture and championed the growth of creators over the years.
Those selected will join former Hall of Fame inductees and the VidCon Advisory Board on the VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee.
We are accepting submissions for the VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee from February 11 – February 27, 2026. The VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee will be confirmed and announced on Monday, March 2, at which point the nomination process will begin.
The VidCon Hall of Fame Nomination Process
Once the VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee is identified, the following steps will be taken to determine the 2026 Hall of Fame class:
- The VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee will have a window of time to submit Hall of Fame nominations based on a set of criteria that is pre-determined by VidCon.
- Once the nomination window closes, VidCon will provide the Hall of Fame Selection Committee with a list of creators who received the most nominations.
- At that point, the Hall of Fame Selection Committee will be asked to vote for the creators they want to be inducted into the VidCon Anaheim 2026 Hall of Fame.
- Inductees will be announced on April 22, 2026.

No, Hall of Fame nominations can only be made by those selected to be a part of the VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The members of this committee nominate creators for the Hall of Fame and then vote on a short list to determine each year’s class.
A creator must be nominated by VidCon’s official Hall of Fame Selection Committee based on a set of criteria that is predetermined by VidCon. The objective is to recognize legacy and impact with creators that have sustained high-performance over time and continuously innovated to set new creative standards in our industry.
