Rachael Terrell is the Senior Director of Social Impact at SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios, tasked with leading campaigns that leverage the brands’ superpowers for good. Working closely with non-profit partners and experts, Terrell’s team builds impact-driven campaigns that engage, empower and activate audiences. Focusing on civic engagement and mental health, their campaigns have reached millions through initiatives like Vote Early Day, Power the Polls, Mental Health Action Day, and the newly launched A.S.K. campaign. Terrell also advises content creators and creatives on ways to expand representation and develop nuanced, authentic storylines.

Terrell has a background in public policy and strategic communications. Prior to joining SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios, Rachael produced several large-scale live television events, including the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show and the 2016 Democratic National Convention. She has previously worked managing high-profile Senatorial and labor campaigns. Terrell is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and currently resides in Nashville.
