A strategic storyteller and cultural architect, Phil has built and led global communications functions across tech, entertainment, and fashion, ensuring brands don’t just make headlines—they shape industries.\n\nPrior to Tinder, Phil was Global Head of Brand Communications at Coinbase, where he drove the communications strategy behind the company’s groundbreaking Super Bowl QR code ad, which shattered engagement records and redefined digital marketing. At Netflix, he spearheaded the comms strategy for the company’s first-ever consumer products and brand partnerships division, launching initiatives like the Stranger Things consumer products universe that positioned Netflix as more than just a streaming platform. Before that, he ran global communications at IMG, driving narratives for IMG Models, New York Fashion Week, and the company’s global fashion events portfolio, including the launch of Brawn & Curvy, a milestone in size inclusivity in modeling.\n\nPhil earned his bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Concordia University in Montréal.
