Joey Meehan oversees Business Development for TikTok LIVE in North America. Prior, Joey directed Business Development and Go-To-Market Sales Strategy for Zoom’s newest product Zoom Events and Webinars. Before joining Zoom, Joey was responsible for Business Development at Variety where he helped lead the transition from a traditionally print-focused entity to a digital-first company under the new ownership of Penske Media Corporation (PMC). In addition to facilitating this transition, he managed ticket sales and partnerships for live events and created several new evergreen features and revenue streams including Entertainment Real Estate and Legalization & Entertainment. At Zoom, Joey brought his expertise in entertainment partnerships and live events to strategize the go-to-market plan for Zoom Events to build a virtual event management platform attendees will love. Joey currently serves on the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California as a student-athlete completing dual programs through the Annenberg School of Communication and School of Cinematic Arts.
