If you will be attending with a minor who is 15 years old or younger, you will need your own ticket to attend VidCon. Chaperones who are attending with someone who is 16 years old or older only need to purchase a ticket if they wish to participate in VidCon content and activities with their child. Please see our Chaperone Policy below for more information:

Children 8 and under:

Children 8 and under do not need a ticket as long as they are accompanied by an adult (18+) who has purchased a ticket to attend VidCon. Children 8 years old and under may participate in any activities their parent or chaperone will be participating in during the event.

Children between the ages of 9 and 15:

Children between the ages of 9 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times. The adult must have purchased a ticket that offers access to the track the child will be attending.

Children 16 or older:

Children 16 or older are not required to be accompanied by a chaperone if it’s OK with their parent/guardian. If a parent/guardian would like to accompany their child in any capacity, they need a ticket to attend VidCon — adults without tickets will not have access to any panels, the Expo Hall, evening programming, etc.
